High-Danger Chances For per 60 (HDCF/60) Leaders

2026-27Even strengthThrough 3 team games

High-danger chances are the attempts from the slot and crease area, plus rebounds and rush chances that the War-on-Ice scoring-chance scale rates 3 or higher. This board ranks how many of them a skater's team creates per 60 minutes while he is on the ice.

It is a rate, so a third-liner with 600 good minutes can outrank a star with 1,200 ordinary ones. The HDCA/60 column shows what the same minutes gave up.

Leader in 2026-27: Victor Olofsson (VGK), 29.19 HDCF/60.

  • Early sample: teams have played at most 3 games in 2026-27. Expect big swings.

Minimum sample: 23 min (it scales with games played and sequence coverage). 420 below the minimum are hidden.

How to read it

League average at 5-on-5 is roughly 10-12 HDCF/60 per team; the leaders sit well above that.

How reliable is it?

Chance counts are less noisy than goals but more than all attempts; give them 400+ minutes before trusting a ranking.
