Fastest Skaters: NHL EDGE Top Speed Leaders
2024-25All situationsThrough 85 team games
NHL EDGE tracks every skater's position many times a second, and the single fastest moment of his season is his top speed. The league average top speed sits a little above 22 mph; the true burners clear 24.
Top speed is a peak, not an average, so we also show how often a player hits 22 mph or more. The speed badge next to a name marks skaters in the top quarter of the league.
Leader in 2024-25: Miles Wood (COL), 24.8 mph Top speed.
