This board ranks every NHL skater by shorthanded assists, regular season only, listing players with at least one. Pick any season back to 2017-18 above the table.
Shorthanded assists go to the passers on goals scored while killing a penalty. The totals are tiny; one or two put a player near the top. Only a handful of leagues score SHA. Use it alongside the shorthanded points board to find penalty killers who chip in.
Leader for the Montreal Canadiens in 2020-21: Nick Suzuki (MTL), 1 SHA.
