What Goals: last 14 days measures
This board ranks NHL skaters by total goals, all situations, over the last 14 days. Players under the minimum sample are hidden, and every row shows the games or minutes behind the number. Total goals, all situations, over the last 14 days.
A short window is a small sample: shots, hits, blocks and ice time carry over from week to week far better than goals and points do. Treat a hot window as a lead to check, not a verdict.
The last 14 days show who is hot right now, which is what waiver decisions turn on. Goals scored this season, every situation including the power play and empty nets. The goal race swings more than the points race, because shooting percentage runs hot and cold. In 2017-18, 331 skaters qualify for this board; the median is 1 and Claude Giroux leads at 8.
