How scoring formats change points

Switch the format to see the same games re-scored. The tools work the same way: we store stat lines and score them in your format, so rankings re-order instantly.

Scoring rules

Every format scores 1 point per 25 passing yards, 1 per 10 rushing or receiving yards, 6 per rushing or receiving touchdown, and -2 per fumble lost (-1 on DraftKings). We store each player’s stat line, never his points, and score it in your format when the page renders, so switching format re-ranks every table instantly.

PPR is the default because it is the most common format: ESPN, the biggest platform, defaults new leagues to full PPR, and it is the plurality format in public league surveys (about 48% PPR, 38% half PPR, 13% standard). Pick another format once and every NFL tool on Edgehalla remembers it.

Frequently asked questions

Which scoring format do the tools use?

PPR by default. Every tool can switch to half PPR or standard, plus TE premium, 6-point passing touchdowns, DraftKings and FanDuel. Your choice is remembered on this device, and shared links keep the format they were made with.

Why does the default use full PPR?

It is the most common format: ESPN, the largest platform, defaults new leagues to full PPR, and it is the plurality format in surveys of real leagues (about 48% PPR, 38% half PPR, 13% standard). Yahoo leagues default to half PPR, so switch once if that is yours.

Are the tools free?

Yes. Every tool on this page is free, with no account needed. A free account will let you connect your league so start/sit and waiver advice use your league’s exact scoring and available players.

How are the projections made?

From usage first: snap share, route participation, target and carry share and red-zone role, combined with each team’s expected plays and Vegas implied total. Alongside them we publish the model’s backtested accuracy by position, updated weekly.

When will each tool be available?

Reference pages (players, teams, injuries, Vegas, usage) arrive first, then the weekly decision tools (projections, usage risers, start/sit, streamers and the waiver wire) by Week 8, and trade value, playoff schedule and DFS tools before the fantasy playoffs. Each card above shows its timing.
