How we calculate team Avg meter

Each skater with 10 or more games gets a Luck Meter from −100 to +100 built from shooting %, on-ice SH% and SV%, IPP and points versus expected. We average the team's skaters.

Why it matters for fantasy hockey

A team with a high average has several sell-high candidates; a low average is a buy-low shopping list. The Luck Meter page names them.

How to read it

Zero is neutral. Team averages beyond ±10 mean luck is running the same way across the roster.

Limitations

The meter estimates luck from rates that are partly skill; a hot team with elite shooters will look luckier than it is.
