How we calculate team PP TOI/GP
The team's total power-play time divided by games played.
Why it matters for fantasy hockey
More PP minutes means more PP points to share. A player with a 60% PP share on a team that gets 6 minutes a night beats the same share on a team that gets 4.
How to read it
League average is about 4:40 a game. Multiply by a player's PP share to estimate his nightly power-play minutes.
Limitations
Penalty calls depend on referees and opponents as much as the team, so this regresses toward average.
