A workload stat: starts and team shot suppression explain almost all of it.
Shots against counts every shot on goal a goalie faced. Starters on teams that bleed shots lead, which is why they also lead in saves. Shots against drive saves in points leagues; a busy goalie on a bad team can still score well there. In 2021-22, 119 goalies qualify for this board; the median is 574 and Connor Hellebuyck leads at 2,155.
