This board ranks every NHL team by shots on goal, regular season only. Pick any season back to 2017-18 above the table; each team links to its own players' shots on goal. Shots on goal by the team, regular season.

Shot volume settles within a few weeks and predicts future scoring better than goals do.

Team shots on goal count every shot the opposing goalie saved or that went in. Volume teams average more than 33 a game; shot volume is the most repeatable team offence number. In 2024-25, 32 teams qualify for this board; the median is 2,309 and Edmonton Oilers leads at 2,622.
