How we calculate team FO%

Faceoff wins divided by wins plus losses, all situations, regular season, from NHL play-by-play.

Why it matters for fantasy hockey

Useful in leagues that score faceoff wins, and as a tiebreak for which centre takes power-play draws.

How to read it

50% is even. The best teams sit near 54%, the worst near 46%.

Limitations

It treats every draw the same. See Draw Equity for the zone-weighted version.
