NHL 60-Minute Records 2026-27

Every NHL team's regulation (60-minute, three-way) record: wins, losses and ties after three periods, beside the straight-up record and the moneyline units.

Utah Mammoth leads NHL teams with a regulation win rate of 70.0% in 2026-27 (10-11 games each; teams under 10 left out), 6.4 points better than Carolina Hurricanes and New York Rangers.

Early season: no team has 20 games with a line yet, so every rate here is mostly noise. Last season's full table is one tab over.

Does a good 60-minute record repeat?

How far each team's win rate ran ahead of or behind the market barely repeats. Odd games against even games within a season: r = −0.04 (2024-25) and 0.09 (2025-26). One season to the next: r = −0.25 across 32 teams. The spread between teams (SD 5.7 pts and 5.6 pts) is about what chance alone produces (5.2 pts; 95th percentile 6.2 pts).

Betting every 2025-26 game of the 10 teams with the best 2024-25 moneyline records returned −3.9% (816 bets); the 10 worst returned +1.3% (815).

The regulation tie rate also moves by season: 20.7% in 2024-25 and 25.0% in 2025-26. A team's overtime share is mostly luck in close games.

Lines: Polymarket closing prices (no-vig), so units are not shown. GP counts every final; W-L-T is the result after 60 minutes. Regular season only.

After the vig

Flat 1-unit bets at the median closing price across 11 US books. A blanket bet loses about the vig, and the sign flips between seasons:

NHL 60-Minute Records: blanket bets after the vig, 2024-25 and 2025-26
Bet every game on2024-25 ROI (bets)2025-26 ROI (bets)
Favourite moneyline−2.5% (1,313)−8.5% (1,306)
Underdog moneyline−6.2% (1,311)+2.0% (1,306)
Home moneyline+1.2% (1,312)−5.8% (1,306)
Away moneyline−9.9% (1,312)−0.7% (1,306)

We do not store three-way (60-minute) prices, so there is no after-vig result for the regulation market itself; the table shows the two-way moneyline units instead. Testing three-way bets would need the books' regulation prices for each game.

Current-season units use prediction-market lines where no book prices are stored, so they show as –.

What a 60-minute record measures

The 60-minute (regulation) line is the three-way moneyline: home win, away win or a tie after three periods. Overtime and shootout games are ties here, so a team can be 10-2 straight up and 7-2-3 in regulation. In 2026-27, 23.2% of games were tied after 60 minutes.

Regulation wins track team quality closely, but the tie share swings by season (20.7% in 2024-25, 25.0% in 2025-26) and by team mostly at random. Close-game records, like one-goal and overtime records, carry very little signal from one season to the next.

For three-way bets, the price of the draw is the main question; it pays around 4 to 1. We do not store three-way prices, so this page shows records only and makes no after-vig claim for this market.
