How we calculate team SCF%

The zone method grades every attempt; anything worth 2 or more points is a scoring chance. We take the team share for and against at 5-on-5.

Why it matters for fantasy hockey

A broader, steadier version of high-danger chances. It is useful early in the season when high-danger samples are thin.

How to read it

50% is even. Teams above 53% generate the better looks most nights.

Limitations

The zone grades are fixed rules, not a fitted model, so they miss passing and screens like any location-based count.
