How we calculate team sxGF%
Inside each possession chain, a follow-up shot only counts for the chance that the earlier shots did not already score. We sum the adjusted values for and against at 5-on-5 by team.
Why it matters for fantasy hockey
Teams whose plain xG is inflated by rebound flurries drop here. A team that holds up in sxGF% creates separate, repeatable chances, which is what keeps skaters' point paces stable.
How to read it
50% is even. Compare with xGF%: a team several points lower in sxGF% leans on scrambles.
Limitations
Possession chains depend on the play-by-play recording each event; missed events can split or merge chains.
