A goalie is credited with the win when he is in net for the go-ahead goal that stands. Starters on good teams lead, and the totals follow starts more than save percentage. Wins are the one goalie category every league scores. Starts drive them: a workhorse on an average team usually beats a great goalie in a timeshare.
