We add the projected power-play goals and power-play assists. Each comes from splitting LineupExperts' projected goals or assists by strength, in proportion to the player's recent power-play minutes times his shrunk scoring rate on the power play.

No. The split only divides a player's projected goals and assists among even strength, the power play and the penalty kill.

Only through LineupExperts' goal and assist projection. Our split itself does not adjust for the opponent's penalty kill or penalty rate.

Backtested on 2024-25 and 2025-26 with the real goal and assist totals, projected PPP beat a naive per-game rate at every cutoff, and the top deciles matched actual PPP within about 5%.
