Q: What's a good save percentage for one game?

Single-game SV% is highly variable. A .920+ is solid, .940+ is excellent. Even elite goalies post sub-.900 games occasionally due to variance.

Q: Does matchup affect save percentage?

Significantly. Facing weak offenses that take low-quality shots inflates SV%. Facing elite offenses with high-danger chances suppresses SV%.

Q: Should I bench a good goalie in a bad matchup?

Consider it. Even elite goalies struggle against top offenses. A .900 SV% against Colorado is respectable; a .900 against a weak team is disappointing.
